26 Sept 2011 - 8.50 to 8.55pm

After looping round and round the esplanade to marina bay sands area, I thank God He led me to try the car park...and so 'zun' it's the carpark that ritz carlton tied up with (tie up with millenia building) during the F1 race, as thier regualr entrance is closed off...

Would seriously have been hard to find, and if I was a little later having to do another loop, I woul have missed the opportunity!

Never been to Ritz before. Came out fo the lift...lost at the lobby, and tried to figure out where is the real main lobby/ reception (they had a few desks.)

Quickly figured out the main lobby and saw some people with ferrari bags. Confirmed that he wasn't there. At that time, I spun around to head back to where I exited the lift, to see someone pulling a ferrari trolly bag...red red ...hah....only saw his back...but it was him!!! wahahhaha...

Couldn't get a clear shot, coz had to take with no flash. He peered over his shoulder and i know he was looking in my direction. And kept turning to look over...I think he realised..jialat..got fan around..hahaha..I was the only one. I think he was surprised to see someone there i guess, What are the chances! hahaha...

I tell you..i started getting really nervous...haven't felt this way in ages...its a different kind of nervous..

I waited patiently from a distance though, I didn't want to be pushy, coz you can just blow it. So I felt, just wait till his free and I think ultimately he appreciated it.

I positioned myself where he had to walk past me to get to the main door. He started approaching me, when the hotel staff called him aside to sign something for the hotel...aiyo...

But when he came back by, I asked him nicely if I could take a pic and autograph...

I was just way too nervous to shake his hand or something...

I've heard he talks soft...and he did..and just said..."take..take..." in a little hurried and cheen chai attitude. Cool thing was he got his friend to help us take the shot. =)

After the shot, I said me thanks. He started walking off ...so I walked up beside him and asked if he could give me an autograph, whipping out his cap from my side bag.

He paused to look at the cap a moment, then his body language kinda indicated he was open to sign as he turned to the side...I gave him my marker and held on to the cap. He signed and returned me the pen...

One thing I appreciated was that he didnt' give an unhappy look when I asked for the autograph, and he also made sure he did a good autograph, gripping the cap and signing it slowly. Thinking back, I should've grabbed the opportunity to ask him to add my name! hahaha... I will never sell it! Might as well personalise it!!

Walking on, I said.."Thanks Fernando! Have a good trip!"

Still walking on , he semi turned and nodded absently, with a soft. "yeah..thanks.."

I was still in a I can't believe it state...heh...watching him leave pretty fast with the group.

Took me a long while to recover from the severe butterflies and warm nervousness..I felt as though I was in a dream..LOL. simply because it all happend so fast. I left home at 8.20pm, and in less than an hour..it all happened!

I guess after watching so many videos of hoards of fans approaching, yelling his name for some 'time'/ pic/ autograph...and he's rushing from place to place, you just think you have this super slim chance of even getting a decent time without being shoved.

And here, one to one!...sure..it was rushed...but I was the ONLY ONE!

heee...

after that was =( that I didn't pursue the VIP terminal access...heard he hung around there a good half hour. Oh well, I though he would jsut rush through it..

my prize!!! Pic with Fernando! Awesome! Just sad the hotel lobby so dark...so gotta have flash..=)

I held back for just over a month to open one of my xmas pressies where when i put it up against the light, I knew what it was already, and told myself...cannot open the package...else..i won't stop...so saved it for a time i could 'enjoy it'....heee

He takes super long just to write one book. *faint* especially now that he's popular it takes even longer than ever becasue he's so busy...growl...almsot one year one book...

can you imagine, I read 6 sacred stones in my phuket trip in 2009 and I've held back till now to devour the 5 greatest warriors..and... *gasp* no more after this!...till end 2011 which mean reach SG in early 2012!!!...Noooo!!!

Matthew Reillyyyyyy....I dunno why i like to read his books when it's like the ramblings of a child describing an adventure!...hehehe...but..the adventure is just so so fun!!! And so so impossibly out of this world!

But still can't compare to JD Robb lah =) her books are real treats!

which..*snigger*..I've got Baboon addicted to them...since a year back..=P I changed a skeptic! bwahahaha

Ferni numero uno!! =D

So hard to find a non-racing pic of da best F1 driver in da world!!!!

Congratulations Ferni! Your 3rd number one spot for the season, and so so important for the championship race. I am happy you won in my home land, coz at least you'll have good memories of SG!! LOL!

What a nail biting finish lor. Ge and I were sqwaking away in her room as we watched the final lap of the F1 race in her room. Vettel was just so so so near.....and with fernando's worn tires, anything could've happened. But...heh...i was evily chanting the "Vettel is known to be a bad overtaker!"

Races in SG so exciting...we had a loose wheel, a barrier crash (followed by another), alot of nose to wheel chippings, Alonso's hand gestures to Vettel as he beat him to the pit lane exit, Hami's fierce move that lead to an amusing sequence of banging his head against the car, tossing out his steering wheel and ripping out his water supply...., Kubi's 4 car overtake, and a big big fire fromt he lotus engine...wah... drama drama...

Yipeeedooo... 3 more races...i really wonder...not going to be easy...he's still a good number of poiunts behind webber.
So yeah!!

Today was a pretty smooth day except my 'wake up late' bit... mum celebrated her beeday early today so I was the service chauffer in the afternoon. =) Then I decked myself out in my F1 tee and headed down to a tree for a preview of the new home! hahaha...with a corn soup receipe that i need to adapt into mine! =P
=) okies...i better go sleep soon...monday monday....raaar...=)

To share share...

Wante dto put up some pics for you to see what i've been up to the past 24 hours, esp the last 4, when i went to hunt for food. LOL! spent almost 50 on basic drinks.

But don't know why, when i insert my SD card into my lappie. it asks to reformat!!!!

When i put th card back in my camera, it reads with no problem. I tried my laptop slot with another brand new empty SD card. It also asked to reformat. When I accepted, it say it failed to do so...duh...

so abit stumped. Intended to blog now and again when i can on the trip...haiyo...very xian..why lidat?...

Maybe try again tomorrow bah, perhaps need to restart my comp.

It's been a long day, just realised i effectively haven't bathed for more thatn 24 hours..hehehe...

Caught alot of intermittent sleep. I would haev to say one of the bet i got were the half hour x2 segments during the zurich transit. (5 hour transit window.) I had no swiss franc with me...nor was it worth the euro conversion to buy food then. Thank God I kept some basics like crackers, cheese and yogurt from the SQ flight. =)

Though most of the time in transit, can't walk walk much to see the shops coz my backpack too heavy and bulky!

But all is well lah, i'm checked in, safe, and managed to get some food and drinks. =) Also, i got internet running, so can share share with you!

Myups, plus thank god, my flu okie liao, am still bit coarse, but it jsut remnants. Footie behaved in the flight and through the day. He's abit achish die to the stiff postion in the plane. But he's good. =)

its 10pm here but the sky looks like in singapore at 7pm. Long days in summer? (It was still bright and sunny at 8pm lor)

I have national treasure showing on tv now. I'ts all in german! lol...better than nothing lah, just watch the action. Familiar story line anyway. =)

aigooo....so sad can't share the pics...really have a couple of interesting ones lor. Oh well, maybe daddy just want me to do other things tonight....like bathe!

Hahahha...i refuse to bathe now..since it's only 10pm. i know once i bathe, slink into bed I'm out like a bulb coz now it's 4am SG time too +tired from travel. So must bear with it for another half hour to hour more then can sleep proper. =)

I actually haven't booked much of my post-show activities. have some idea, but can look into it tomorrow bah. I dont' trust my brain now..lol.

Okie, time to go bathe.. thanks for reading! heeeee...i'm so boh...

long veeekend

TICKETS

Hmmm...due to the public holiday and some technicalities, i'm do not have my confirmed tickets to my europe trip. Just pray all will be well on monday.

Yesterday and today, i did up draft schedules for my own portion of the trip. Found a good priced brand new hotel in a a prime part of copenhagen. (right next to the marriots and ascotts) but at half a price! hehehe...Haven't booked the rooms coz i need to at least confirm my main flights, buy tickets for the intercity flights then the rooms. Haiyo...so complicated.

Only haven't figured out which hotel to stay in amsterdam yet. Online reviews kinda all look abit =S but i want one near the central station coz i dun wanna lug my bags too far. Also, i plan to go see the world's largest flower auction at the crack of dawn ---6am! so the bus starts from the station...hehehe...

I've decided to give belgium a miss, after a better look at the schedule. I only have 3 free days, of which already one will be spent on the train from london to amsterdam. Only one option available for a sunday and it's from 8am to 4pm. By the time i'm settled, i need to poke my head out for the nightlife. =P maybe check out the late night museums..

That chunnel trip dunno how much it is, but estimates tell me its abotu S$350! flight is $170...how ironic.

My two interconnet flights sbout be about $170 each. one from berlin to lon, and amsterdam to copen.

MOOLAH SPENDING

Today made two trips to parkway with big sis.

ended up---completely unplanned, getting some airsterilizer the size of a tissue box. (supposed to be real good) cozt me $292. HAIZ....

sis shopping for one coz of her dog's skin and old health. For me i considered for health reasons, of my footie and the bad dust state of my room...hopefully it will help me zzz better and give my body good vibes for footie's sake.=)

I also bought today coz the guy was willing to give 10% discount for 2 units.

There goes my hp $$$ lor....aigooo, i need to get a proper hp before my trip.

Anyway, still hunting, and will still buy lah, just a more broke June month, having to pay for income tax, parking fine, and if i'm not worng Blooie's insurance will be up soon -- with road tax...raaar.

2nd trip to parkway was later tonight, when i realised forgot to buy spare batt for mum's camera in tiem for her trip (she leaving 0300h sunday) and need an 8 hour charge mah. So sis drive, i did the rushing. The cam has two batts already. Just that the 1st oen due for retirement lah.. it will be good for her trip..she going alaska and canada!

VISA

spent some time checking out which countries we need visas for. Just to make sure in case i decide to do something mad like dance between borders..hahaha...all is well for the general europe side...can save some moolah, unlike aussie need visa. humph.

WORLD CUP

my collague reminded me that i'll be in europe during world cup and asked me about eh time differnce! would i miss out?

Apparently it will start in the midst of the trip. And there is no time diff between south africa and europe! so it would be live matches, from europe time of sometimes, 4pm, 8.30pm and the occasional 1pm.

I looked to my sis last night and said:" you think it will be safe to travel during that time??? I mean, what if the germans riot?!"...my sis said.-- germans to do riot...AHHAHAHAHA...

But you knwo what i mean, i'm going to soccer crazy countries of england, germany and holland...ah dui. what if the team loses...but then, again, action should be fun at the pubs, i wonder if i'll have the guts to go watch eh and be part of the local trend. =P

Over there, soccer in pubs = to SG kopishop uncles with their tiger beers kind of culture.

FLOWERS

I'm not a huge fan of flowers, but they are lovely when in the thousands...and i read it's all a blooming in europe in June. let's hope eh...then the gardens will be nice..=) big garden squares set against historical buildings..woohooo...

Oh yay...it will be the first tiem i bring my new camera overseas!!!

MOBILE PHONE

I considered the corby pro the past 36 hours. Until, i read that my phone provider will be the first in the world to offer the latest samsung that i'd been drooling over. the only bad thing abt it is that it's pure touch screen. But it will be one my boss will likely admit is more chio than his phone...bwahahahha...

but but but....it's only avail in shops from 4 JUNE. *faints* I leave on the 5th June..dunno what time yet.

which then my brain leads back to.....

...TICKETS

I wanna sit A380 from london to sg can or not!?..sniffs...haiz...complicated. gotta check how difference the price is going to be.

am on some KLM/ airfrance combo. and i'll be in paris for 3 hours! HAH! (lame celebration --- it's only transit at the charlles de gaulle lah..=P)

okie okie...time to go..thirsty....

Argh...why the smile you links still down?!...grr...will i forever be stuck on episode 36 part 7!!! I refuse to skeeep...so close to the end liao!!!

I love the show neh...I'm so glad the first korean show i ever watched was Smile,You. It was worth every minute. It make me laugh and cry so many times i can't remember. =D

me thinks the lead lady is damn pretty lor. Lee Min Jung. The role just suited her lah, from acting as a spoilt brat to the adorable and essentially strong girl. The show's character is very admirable.

Anyway...can't believe she came to SG before, and looks so sweet at the airport signing autographs.Heh.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yV3cm4pckXk

She seems like a nice person, hope she'll be happy and not one of those sad story celebs.

After many weekends of vexing..

My terrapin tank is ready! Yeah! Me moved them into thier new home about two weeks back. But had to take them out regualrly, because I still hadn't figured out how to do a staircase for them.

Thank God for the perfectly shaped driftwood (the only piece that size and shape at the shop). The Pins can now climb up to their resting ledge. =) I saw a smilar tank at the shop...$30! when I got mine at $10..heh..what a steal...

Anyway, all they now need is a little tidying up of the tank because some of the set up were just trials and not done proper.

Was happy when i came in this morning. They were perched on top of each other relaxing, plus me got the lib books. =) So they have adapted to thier new tank. Next step now is to make sure they eat, then eventually with some creativity, decor the tank a lil' so that it looks nice in the office.

I think the Pins give everyone a little entertainment at work. I guess, seeing two small fellas takes your mind off stuff...I hope the Pins won't be too cold, because they can't talk lor...

Humph , come to think of it, I should jsut give them a mini broom and mop --> they DIY cleaning! =P

I never heard of the govts slogan on CBF until recently, and I am extrememly amused. That they used CBF instead of productivity lor...goodness...so..erm..layman lor...hahaha...didn't someone reading the script pick it up!?!?

Reading articles online and laughing away upon learning that NASA's motto was CBF, in the early 1990's which led to the twin mars disasters of '99...and NASA's recognistion to scrap that stupid motto in 2000. Hahahaha...

Today i learned that blooie's cost price in teh market now is $82K to $97K, up from the prev $59K to 63K...kwah... and the used car market for those around blooie's age is almost hsi cost price too! it's like my car never depreciated..hahaha

Seems other drivers also experience blooie's heavy body roll on turns too...phew...

I alos just watched this clip of singapore in 1957 that left me =O it's so old...goodness...zero skyscrapers. And the way it portray the ang mohs...kekeke...and Singapore airport! marine parade was non existant lor...it took me a long while to recognise City hall mrt area..hahaha..becasue the only thing still there is the war memorial!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nw7toyYrqjs&feature=fvw

This channel is so interesting...got film of china in 1920s lor...these are really trasures and am glad they manage to digitalise it. The ones in teh 20s are like the charlie chaplin style...action then a balck screen with white words to narrate...coools...

Race 2...Button wins...urgh...

Todays' last 12 laps was exciting!

Button was way in front (12 secs ahead) at 1 position becasue of strategic moves by the engineers, giving him the lead. You can see my disdain for Button. When he does well, he's happy. When not doing well, you hear him be-moan about that the car is lousy -- ya, the same car that help you win the previous race..Duh...

So the reamaining line up was Kubica (renault), Massa and alonso, these 3 having 0.5 to 1 sec gaps between.

Between Massa and Alonso, I'm not being biased, but I have seen Alonso able to overtake Massa many times before...so..hehehe...he was trying.

BUT...

With 8 laps remaining, Hamilton started creeping closer behind on 5th postion (behind alonso), followed by Webber (red bull)

Initially, the time gap between the old rivals, Hamilton and Alonso was 9 seconds and it was cut down to 0.7 secs!!!

Radio chatter was screaming into hamilton's earpiece that the Ferrari's strategy may be failing them as they have to hold out with thier current wheels, which is wearing out fast. Pitting for the Ferraris at this stage was not an option. --> Pressure and overtake!!

Alonso da best lah...the strategy at this point paid off. For the team, he held off Hamilton and Webber, allowing the gap between him and Massa to increase, so that even if hamilton was to overtake, he wouldn't have sufficient oppotunities to snatch 3rd place from Massa, even with Massa's weak tyres. (Points in the top 3 postion as significantly higher)

At a 0.5sec gap, The Ferrari Team Radio told Alonso, "It's point-5 now, it's point-5.."

Alonso replied."OK, OK,..I don't want to know, I don't want to know!"

AHAHAHHAHA....it's true mah, here you are focussing on staving off the opponent, telling me how much he's catching up ain't helping man!

From there, alonso was great, keeping the eyeball on hamilton, who tried to peek out from the lineup of Alonso, Ham and Webber, in order to overtake, but failign each time..*evil laugh*

With two laps to go, Hamilton made his grand move.

Approaching a sharp right turn, he overtook Alonso on the left. Alonso didnt' fall back in line -- the usual method, as you should take the outer circle at the turn.

So they turned almost side by side - Ham on the outside, Alonso on the inside.

Now if you do your visualisations, with your two hands parallel then turning right, the inner car's back will threaten the outter car.

This is the point where they often say is the guts part of F1 and the split second decision. You have to be confident and know your car well, and take the risk.

Alonso, with a slight jerk, swung near to Ham's rigth nose, his back left wheel, skimming close to Ham's fromt rigth wheels. This sudden move is critical.

Several terrible things could have happened --1) since Alonso was going with the G force, his sudden move to swing into ham's lane to cut him at the turn, could mean, he'll swing all the way out of the track into the wall! Taking his car out of teh race completely.

2) A collision of wheels, which meant either or no side would survive and be taken out of the track.

Ham panicked and slowed only enough to let the ferrari pass at the turn, but still strategically, He cut right at the last moment--- hoping that if Alonso is still swinging out into left, he can speed up by overtaking on the right...

Awww...but Alonso was smarter and knew what Ham was thinking, being ahead, all he had to do was turn his car right alittle, cutting into Ham's new drive path.

Muahaha...Ham was squashed! he couldn't go ahead anymore and could only turn right harder into and awkward postion in order to preserve the car and let the Ferrari pass.

hehehe...then hor, the Red bull nipped into Ham's car...and they both swung out of the race..hehehehe

Red bull's fault lah...he shouldn't go that near with these two in front who 'chut pattern'. But maybe he was also thinking that if the two cars took each other out of the track with thier moves, he could slip by!

Split second decisions man....split second...

Anyway, red bull lost a nose, meant having to pit and redo. hamilton was fine, lost some spots but still in the top ten...

hahaha...And Alonso sneaked away..kekeke...last two laps leh...

This ensured that the entire Ferrari team keep critical points. *evil laughter*

This is where I think Alonso has grown up as a competitve driver. All F1 drivers are very competitve. You should hear them when they talk, they are a bloodthirty bunch, they want to Win. But he has matured. It's not just about overtaking Massa and securing the 3rd postion (ie. the chance to stand on the podium as top 3). But about staving off the opposition, and even if it meant taking your own car out, at least the Team still secures crucial points, under your team mate's hat.

=)

Good grief, can't believe I yak so long about this..engrossed. =P

oh, and alonso got clipped by button at the flag off.spinning him to 22 position..n he fought back 2 4th!..muahaha

The silly things me do with me cam...=P

Been so long since i put up photos. So take some time and do chirpy things!=)

Every CNY, I can't help but do my dracula and flit around the house. Hehe...I love madarin oranges! I did a single tooth dracula shot....
Then this one is slightly blurred,..hahaha...but i think i look like a happy walrus! =P *waves finger at self*...play with food!

Coming up, some photos I took during CNy visit. This year no hp camera so had to conscienciuosly carry the digital cam around =)

This is day two at my uncle's home. He's my dad's younger brother and they live in Potong Pasir area, jsut opposite Saint Andrew's village! Usually i spend day two at Ah ma's place again. But this year we're invited up coz they recently renovated the place since the younger son got married and moved in.

This is cloudy looking earnestly at my sister for food. Yep, the queen got to go visiting. Too bad this year no burberry top/ cheongsam! ( I think she abit too round liao, due to old age..hee)

In the background is my cousin Mabel. Heh, as you can see, our physical structure runs in this part of the fam!! Hahaha...she's older than me but younger than my two big sisters. I think sh'es a rabbit year...1975..she's into IT and lotsa programming and gaming. Was the only one among us all who had the chance to study overseas. She did her Dip here then degree in UK. I think she's still doing ad-hoc work for DSTA.

That's uncle on the right with my sister at the bottom right...ahahah...TVs are crucial at CNY to pass the time. =) We talk alot about football, he's a big Man U fan too. =) In the past when sis bothered, we'd make the trip to his place to catch the crucial matches coz he had cable. Since sis drove, can always get home after a match...Can't rememebr why one day it just stopped...maybe it was coz sis lazy liao..

Anyway, I feel he's a good and simple man, humble and easily happy. He leaves you alone the whole time and woudl be engrossed in reading the paper, staring at the tv and before you knwo it, he's fallen asleep on his easy chair..hahaha.

This is Ah ma, playing Gin Rummy! Hahaha...look at her so focussed. She looks forward to playing every few weeks. It's like a highlight to her, because it's the only big activity/ event with uncle and auntie go over.

Yipes! why the photo upside down one...Raaarrr...i too lazy to change..hehehe...but this is the clan playing with Ah ma lor...on the top in pink in Big Auntie, the eldest sister and sibling on my dad's side. She's very fierce and gave full time chinese tuition to the neighbourhood kids. You can imagine I was the fortunate one to be spared the torture after both my sisters went through the trauma, my parents decided otherwise for me..hehehe... bottom in red is my mum! And the last lady is the lady of the house!

She's the head nurse in KK for several years already. Probably over a decade. She power k, been a nurse since young...and still going strong! =) respect lah...she also a good cook! And ironically the only one not overweight in the fam..HAHAHAHA...

New bedsheet!

One of me Xmas pressies is a bedsheet, so CNY can use orh..=) It came with a jigsaw, so may as well play with it!

Now i'm sneezing like mad due to the dust in my room coz when i change sheets, means the windows and curtains get a cleaning too..*Ah-chooo*

So here it is all done up...I just noticed it got the words 'Chop Chop' printed all over. I guess to Ang mohs it's the sound of the helocopters...but in SG...hahaha...it means chop chop do things now now now!!! I think the Choo Choo Train below is cute!!! =P

joke,,,

Late friday afternoon, boss was in his office having a meeting with 3 staff. It was not the kind I could not interupt. Anyway, there was a reason why I had to interupt, so i stood at the doorway.

Then just before I turned to leave, Boss gave me a knowing look and asked me "So ok with the 8K?"

I wanted to answer -- If I had known what the question was refering to.

I must have had this static look on my face coz one of them burst out laughing.

Then I said:" Boss which 8K? 8K at present mean alot of things to me leh. 8K for a boothlet, 8K is how much we owe xxxx, 8K is the number of publications to reduce to..."

HAHAHAHA...boss was amused too...

*yawns*

Work week 2 of the year has just ended it's first day. Hmmm...Funny, i wonder if it's a good sign to be so aware of it. LOL.

so many bits and pieces happening. Haiz. And just when we thought one was settled, only found out it's partial. *gulp*

I was just showering when i started thinking about prayer and the power of it. It's been so long since I've had these kinds of thoughts move into my conscious. It is a simple act of faith. Anyone can do it.

The best thing about it is that you don't have to put it in so many words or be eloquent in speech. Just have heart. =) Talk to God as you do a friend. A close friend. coz you'll be sincere. i know you rarely hear Him talk back. But jsut take it that he's a good listener k?...hahaha

I always envisioned angels jotting down everything I say and *rolling their eyes* at my silly mistakes or having a "not-again" look..hahaha..pity the angel who gets me when i fall asleep halfway..lol...but they will still do thier duty and bring up the prayers to Him. =) becasue Angels bring up our prayers mah...

ok ok...dont' drift too far..else i'd go no where. I guess say here and there, I just wanna tell god I appreciate his patience with us. =)

Feeling comfy here, just sitting back and wriggling my toes with the cold air blasting in my face. Can tomorrow not come? hahahaha...God give us strength and wisdom coupled with immense favour, please...on all the stuff we can't work on can you please send your angels to work on them and I pray that your grace will cover it all. For everything we touch, that it leads to goodness and in accordnace with your plan. I trust in you that you will protect and stand up for us. Amen!

Ok, the fact I'm rambling prayer on the blog means the brain is 82% gone..hee..

I should gooo...

Oh and ge is back from her tweep with her family. Yipeeedoo..., Ge's back!! heh....though I rather she stay far away as possible from the =S of work..haha...=) I wonder how many times she turned into an icicle in Korea. hahaha..=D

Classic Christmas...is childhood memories....

OOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo...YAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!

I remembered and found my Disney Christmas show!! Man I loved this so much, it was like over and hour of pure christmas magic! I used to have one video tape of it when i was young. Recorded from Tv...!!

I would just leave it on..and laze in bed in an aircon room (the only few specials days, I won't get scolded for leaving the aircon on in the morning)..hee...they showed it in SG when i was 3!!

they don't make good ol' christmas cartoons like this no more...what a classic!

Can't imagine...I believed it all...all that happiness, all that joy..*beeeg smile*

Jingle all the wwaaaaaayyyyyyyy.....

Last week the Meterologoical services warned of heavy monsoons of rain and wind to take place from friday till today. 3 days. Severe flooding of low lying areas are to be expected. Today is sunday. Where is the big rain!

=P

In all my life i've known of lour local weather man, he's seldom right. Hahaha...well, sometimes he's close, but can be quite off.. hahaha...So usually I think opposite to what he predicts it to be and most of the time it's been helpful.=P

If he's going to be off this time round, i pray it won't happen tomorrow when we're out in Batam, especially on the ferry ride. Nausea wouls definitely spoil the day.

Recent news on the cold weather affecting transport in Europe makes one thankful to live in this part of the world. (For the moment of course. Humans are never satisfied and would soon gripe)...hehehe...

Not by man made destruction, the movie 2012, depicts a different and highly likely end of the world scenario. Not by any of our doing but by solar forces. It was realsitic. But the close shaves were abit overdone. One can only be lucky that many times. However, the CGI is awesome. You should watch it if you can. and if you do, it has to be the home big screen tv k, not your puny laptop, unless your laptop is a 20" at least...hahaha..then you will feel the full effect of the END OF THE WORLD!

Aiyo, why such morbid topics? You must be wondering especially when Christmas is just so round the corner. Well, with the climate thoughts and grim reminder that all could go *poof* overnight. It's a reminder to love and enjoy this holiday. =)

This Christmas is more muted than ever for me. I dunno why, the festive bug hasn't fully bitten me yet, or may just never. I'm not complaining. Just noticing my feelings..hee..but am still brainstorming with ge what to get for the office and so far i think we're almost done except one or two and yes, boss. Am enjoying more than ever to notice that people are trawling malls to find something just to make someone else happy. And that is in itself enough to lift up one's spirits, that collectively, we're all thinking about others and not ourselves for a change. =)

Even if it's expressed in more often than not in materialistic ways. Hey, better than nothing right? =)

Gifts this year is harder for me. One aspect hampering me is my footie. When I shop for X'mas, I need to zip around fast one. Scan , scope, evaluate, note, move on, recap and then decide. Hahaha...

another reason is because, I kinda know what i wanna get for some, but but...I dont' see it around. It's one of those things that if you see, you know it's appropriate. =)

Whatever it is, I'm just happy my footie is well! hee...still bit limpy, but am moving around. Yeah! =D

Arh...he's back?...

Hmmm..Schumi will be back on the F1 track in 2010! With Mercedes.

Wah...the F1 management will be happy. Confirm ticket sales would go up next year because of this.

In addition, Alonso is still on track with Ferrari Scuderia.

WAH>...am sure the two of them are longing to have a competitive go at each other after their history too. hehehe...

More reasons to watch F1! =)

canine chronical

This is cute. It is completely handmade. With leather exteriort and newsprint fabric lining. I thought of getting it for my sister for her work. She has this work bag from levi's that makes me ???? over...hahaha...and i think it's not worth the price kinda thing. But it will do lah. At least she happily bought it. Hmmm...

Hahaha...I think my sis can get away with this one at work. It's exteriorly 'work' looking and still let's her get away with her non-conformist and picky ways..haha..

And she can have fun when she flips inside. And it is really a unique lining! =)

Exp though...even after discount..=) what counts is too bad the strap connector to the bag looks really poorly handmade (looks like will stretch and rip) and won't last long or carry heavy stuff.

So yeah...nice to see..heh...if it was cheaper I would buy it for her. =) Bday+Xmas eh?
